Linden Golf Warranty Statement
Your Electric Golf Trolley is warranted against manufacturing defects and faulty materials for a period of 2 years from the original date of purchase.
The golf battery, battery bag, charger and carry-bag supplied with your Linden Golf electric trolley are warranted against manufacturing defects and faulty materials for a period of 1 year from the original date of purchase.
Linden Golf Trolleys are designed so that any faulty or damaged part can be replaced quickly and easily. Where a replacement part is necessary, we will despatch the part to you within 24 hours. If a serious fault develops which cannot be resolved by a replacement part, during the first year we will repair your trolley, including all parts and labour costs, at our expense or we will replace it with a new or nearly-new trolley (at our discretion).
In the first year of the Warranty, should your trolley need to be returned to us for repair, we will arrange with you to collect your trolley and return it to you free of charge, or you may take your trolley to a local Repair Centre. We aim to return your trolley within 7 working days. No Warranty repair can be affected without our prior authorisation.
In year two of the Warranty period, we will provide the necessary parts to repair your trolley free-of-charge. A small charge is made for Postage & Packing. Should you not wish to fit the part yourself, we will arrange for the part to be fitted at a local Repair Centre or at our Workshop for a fixed fee which we will discuss with you. Please contact us for details.
Please note that you should retain the original packaging should your trolley need to be returned. It is your responsibility to ensure that the trolley is adequately packed for transport.
The following are excluded from the Warranty:
Accidental damage or misuse.
Immersion in water.
Unauthorised modifications or unauthorised repairs.
The use of non-original parts
Normal wear and tear
Over-discharge/incorrect charging of the battery
If your Electric Golf Trolley needs to be repaired, in the first instance please call our Service Department on 0844 542 0222 where we will be pleased to advise you. Please have your Delivery note no. or original receipt to hand when you call.
This Warranty does not affect your Statutory Rights.
Products purchased by customers outside the UK are covered by a 12 Month 'Parts Only' Warranty. We will supply any necessary part free-of-charge (including shipping/carriage costs) during the Warranty period. If you do not wish to receive or fit replacement parts, you may return the trolley to us, at your cost. We will then either repair or replace the trolley (at our discretion) and return it to you, at our cost.
Golf Battery Warranty
If your battery develops a fault during the Warranty period, please call or email us.
We will discuss the issue with you and provide a Warranty Claim form which will need to be completed and returned to us.
Depending on how they are used, stored and charged, golf batteries last anywhere from 3 months to 3 years. In our experience, the majority of battery issues are caused by an old/faulty charger or incorrect procedure.
As possible battery faults can have a variety of causes (e.g. over discharging, faulty charger, incorrect charging/misuse) we may require that you return the battery to us for testing. If the fault is found to be a manufacturing/materials fault the battery will be replaced free of charge, although we may make a charge for the carriage. If the fault is due to misuse/faulty charging etc., we will charge you for the cost of returning the battery to you. We will not charge you for the cost of the test.
Purchase of a battery from us implies agreement with the above procedure. This does not infringe your Statutory Rights.
Please note: the Warranty period applies from the date of the original purchase. If replacement goods are supplied, the Warranty will apply for the remainder of the original warranty period, not from the date of replacement.
